AFTERLIFE*

Intuitive’s are individuals who have the ability to know or understand things without any proof or evidence. In the realm of consciousness studies, they are often referred to as mediums, and some are called psychics; however, there is a distinction between the two.

James Van Praagh is considered one of the most renowned mediums today. Sylvia Browne claimed to be a medium with psychic abilities. All mediums are psychics, but not all psychics are mediums.

A medium is a psychic who has fined-tuned his extrasensory perception and can talk to the spirit world. It simply means a medium can give you information from other sources and energies and then go to the spirit world and communicate with loved ones, spirit guides, and the divine* to convey a complete message.

When the “intuitive” is channeling spirits, guides, or the divine, they are more likely using one or more of these “clairs”:

Clairsentience (clear feeling), Clairvoyant (clear vision), Clairaudient (clear hearing), Clairempathy (clear emotion), Clairegustance (clear tasting), and Clairscent (clear smelling).

There are also extra-dimensional beings that could be assisting mediums and psychics.

When the extraterrestrials, or, as society likes to label them, “aliens,” enter our realm, will they have similar abilities as these mediums and psychics?

The nature of these beings is that they primarily communicate by using telepathy.

This is also how individuals who have a near-death experience have come to know their experience when they meet the “greeters” in the white light or in the realm of the afterlife.

ANITA MOORJANI

In 2006, after a four-year battle with cancer, I fell into a coma and was given hours to live.

As my doctors gathered to revive me, I journeyed into a near-death experience (NDE) where I was given the choice to return to my physical form or to continue into this new realm. I chose the former, and when I regained consciousness, my cancer began to heal.

To the amazement of my doctors, I was free of countless tumors and cancer indicators within weeks.

Since then, I’ve heeded the call to share this powerful story—and divine lesson—with the world

EBEN ALEXANDER III MD.

In the predawn hours of November 10, 2008, he was driven into coma by a rare and mysterious bacterial meningo-encephalitis of unknown cause. He spent a week in coma on a ventilator, his prospects for survival diminishing rapidly. On the seventh day, to the surprise of everyone, he started to awaken.

Memories of his life had been completely deleted inside of the coma, yet he awoke with memories of a fantastic odyssey deep into another realm – more real than this earthly one! His older son advised him to write down everything he could remember about his journey, before he read anything about near-death experiences, physics or cosmology.

Six weeks later, he completed his initial recording of his remarkable journey, totaling over 20,000 words in length. Then he started reading, and was astonished by the commonalities between his journey and so many others reported throughout all cultures, continents and millennia.

His journey brought key insights to the mind-body discussion and to our human understanding of the fundamental nature of reality. His experience clearly revealed that we are conscious in spite of our brain – that, in fact, consciousness is at the root of all existence.

Sharon Stone

Sharon almost died in 2001 when she suffered an aneurism at the San Francisco mansion she shared with husband at the time Phil Bronstein.

She states that there was this tunnel of light, and I was swooping up through this tunnel of light and at the top of it was kind of this hole and several people that I had been very close to, or I had been their caretakers until they died were kind of looking down through that open hole at the top…

I had bleeding into my brain for several days before I went to a hospital, and I became unconscious when I got there, and they put me in a cat scan machine to find out what happened to me.

People discuss these things from a scientific perspective and from a spiritual perspective. I believe that they’re both,” she said. “In my case, when this happened to me, I had all of these things that most people talk about where you see this light where you leave your body, that you have this feeling of being pulled outward and upward.

I had a sense of seeing people that had gone before me, I had a sense of communicating with them and sort of an ephemeral sense, not really with dialogue per se, but I did have a sense of understanding that we were communicating. And then suddenly, I had this gigantic pain, like I’d been kicked in the chest.

THE SOUL IS IMMORTAL

Dr. Greyson shows how scientific revelations about the dying process can support an alternative theory. Dying could be the threshold between one form of consciousness and another, not an ending but a transition.

This new perspective on the nature of death can transform the fear of dying that pervades our culture into a healthy view of it as one more milestone in the course of our lives.

After challenges us to open our minds to these experiences and to what they can teach us, and in so doing, expand our understanding of consciousness and of what it means to be human.

AFTER: Publisher: St. Martin’s Publishing Group (2021) Bruce Greyson, M.D.  (Author) A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal About Life and Beyond.

NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

Dr. Raymond Moody popularized the term “near-death experience”, in his book Life After Life, which is the best-selling

original investigation that revealed near-death experiences. He has interviewed thousands of individuals who have had this experience and established a supernatural, scientific, and psychological explanation for these experiences.

Dr. Eben Alexander III, MD.

We will not try to support or defend any of those explanations at this time but lean more towards the supernatural explanations that signify a non-neurological phenomenon that occurs during this experience.

First, we have to add other medical industry leaders to this series for a more extended review.

In 2008, 54-year-old Dr. Eben Alexander, Neurosurgeon at the University of Lynchburg, Virginia, contracted bacterial meningitis and was in a coma, during which time he had a near-death experience. After a week or so of being in a coma, he woke up but lost his ability to speak. Some of his colleagues believed that he would not be able to continue as a surgeon.

As an atheist, he became unchained and began leading the medical component of the scientific community towards the spiritual awakening of the proof that there is a heaven.

Let me just pause here for a brief moment and discuss what had occurred. There is no accident that a series of esteemed and high ranking medical professionals in the past twenty years have drifted away from the scientific method, and have themselves discovered either by personal experience or those shared by others in near-death studies, live between lives,

past live regressions, hypnotherapy sessions, the inclusion of the Akashic Records, and the belief in reincarnation, that the source, a higher spiritual entity, master of the universe, that God exists and that consciousness continues beyond physical death.

Near Death Studies & Christianity

The United States is considered a country that identifies with Christianity, although Buddhism and Hinduism preceded Christianity.

The Judaist and the Muslim faith create the top 5, and there are over 4,300 religions that do not include agnostics or atheists. What happens when we die? This is a big question and evokes a lot of emotions and opinions.

Near-Death Studies examine thousands of individuals who have had an experience where they have had an out-of-body experience, traveled to another dimension, were greeted by angels, guides, Jesus, or some deity, saw relatives and friends that have preceded them in death, and sometimes their pets had a life review, often referred to as a panoramic slide show where they see from birth to this point in time the good and bad (not to be judging) impacts that they have had on others and then told to return to earth because they have unfinished business. In a nutshell, this is a near-death experience.

We will be featuring “Charlie” because he has had a near-death experience. He returns, and we get an insight into how he sees the world and how he is willing to change based on his NDE and especially his life review.

NEAR DEATH STUDIES I

The concept of Near Death Studies is complicated and we will attempt to make most of what is difficult to understand.

Some of you can’t probably imagine what the topic of Near-Death Studies would have anything to do with race, bigotry, implicit bias or anything else. And you would be wrong.

WHAT IS THE BUZZ ABOUT NDE'S

Let’s just go over a few things so that you can begin to understand what the discipline of Near-Death Studies is and how it help us understand our purpose on earth, with each other, and other living things.

Perhaps, when a person is near death which is classified in the spiritual community as a person who has no cardiac activity for a period of time, aware that they are seeing the separation of their spirit/soul from their physical body usually from. above, have an experience with “the source” Jesus, relatives, your pets, some have a life review, and are able to see their past and then told that they can’t stay, its not their time and return back into their body. This is symbolic of many Near Death Experiencers.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DEATH

The key points that we will focus on in Near Death Studies II & III is how their experiences near death changed how they live

their lives today. My fascination with the subject follows from the notion that if a person was a hard-core white nationalist, high ranking in the Klu Klux Klan and lead others to hate minorities, Jews and anyone else that did not identify as white, had a near death experience and returned, would they take what they saw or experience to begin to understand how we are all connected and more importantly would surrender their racial (racists) ideologies? On the surface, this seems quite reasonable.

I often categorize the same people as atheist who deny or detest the existence of God, but then cry out his name following some catastrophic disaster or imminent death in the emergency room, calls out to God, unconsciously or subconsciously.

Agnostics would also identify as such, prayers that God would save them at their hours of death.

Some individuals who have an experience with “near death” say that they did not necessarily want to return to their bodies.

So, as vague as that sounds, what does it have to do with racial and social issues?

1. Have you ever met someone who had a near death experience?

2. If a racist had a near death experience, went to the other side and return, would/could he/she change their

positions on racism and hate towards individuals who don’t look like them or share their beliefs ?

NEAR DEATH STUDIES II

The Near-Death Studies examine and review what happens to individuals who have an out-of-body experience during a medical crisis and at some point need emergency support by medical staff to revive them before they die.

CONSCIOUSNESS CONTINUES TO EXIST...

The individual having a near-death experience enters into another level of consciousness; if in a hospital setting,

they may hear comments like “he/she is dead.” They are usually looking down from the ceiling and see their body on the table/bed, and in their mind, report back saying that they have never felt so alive.

As they progress through this episode, go through a passageway, feel joy and love, see relatives and friends, and have a panoramic view of their life, they finally return into their body with a changed view of life. This can take several minutes in linear (earth) time; however, in this other realm where time does not exist, the experience is longer.

This is a quick summary of what happens during a Near-Death Experience.
